Pranjal Borah

 

Pranjal is a Ph.D. student at EIlab. He has a background in Computer Science & Engineering. He has worked at AMTRON as a Programmer for one year and then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of RGI for six years. He has interest in the domains of HCI, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, IoT, Formal Language and Automata theory, Compiler Design and Robotics. Some of his previous projects include development of a WSD (Word Sense Disambiguation) system for Assamese language using supervised learning, development of a speech recognition system using HTK, performance evaluation of pattern matching algorithms and development of hand gesture based navigation and control system for mouse pointer.

He likes coding and has keen interest in teaching. In his free time he loves watching movies, listening to music, painting and sculpting. He can be contacted on pranjalborah777 @ gmail.com.
